    Hello,

I just recently bought a 2007 Prius with 63k~ miles. I bought it spur of the moment from a Lexus dealer after my 1995 Camry broke down.

I have read the newbie stickies. They are really great (I won't let anyone jump start my Prius)!

I had a few questions regarding the Prius:
    1. What maintenance should I expect in the near future (70k, 80k, 90k miles)?
    2. Tips on getting oil changes?
    3. How do I tell if my model is gen II or III? (It has leather seats if that helps)
    4. Any other advice?
    Thanks!

2007 is Gen 2, here is a link to the maintenance manual, which seems to be offline just now. Claim 2007 Prius in the upper right.
Toyota Online Owners Manuals and Technical Manuals

Besides Toyota's recommendation I would change the ATF WS in the transaxle now and every 60,000 miles

ATF WS? I did not find that in the newbie glossary.

    Thanks!

A 2007 may need a new 12v battery by this time. A bad 12v battery may cause a number of strange problems. You might also check with a Toyota dealer to see if there are any recalls for that year.

I registered my prius on toyota's website. The online app said that my model had no recalls. :)
