What to take with when you get your new Prius

1. The delivery checklist from http://www.vfaq.net/

2. Driving gloves, to keep fingerprints off the steering wheel, controls and handles. A $2 pair of cotton jerseys will do until you find something that you like better.

3. A box of Swiffers. These are perfect for removing dust from all the smooth surfaces which would otherwise drive one mad. Keep the Swiffer in use in the box with the handle protruding, and keep the box behind the driver's seat.

4. A few CDs. You'll know which, but a good one for any new car is "How Can You Be In Two Places At Once When You're Not Anywhere At All" by the Firesign Theatre. They store nicely on end in the center console.
