The dealer said it was an i, but I believe it might be an iv. It has heated seats, leather seats, jbl stereo, power lumbar, proximity sensor on the door handle, and here is the VIN JTDKN3DU8A0017509. Every VIN decoder I've tried also says its an i. It does NOT have navigation/back up camera. Can anyone help me?

    Thank you so much!

Assuming these are all factory-installed then, yes, it is a 2010 Prius IV.

Highly unlikely, but it could be a stolen vehicle with a VIN switch. In that case, you would have to find one of the hidden VIN's (not sure where), somewhere along the powertrain to verify... I was a police officer MANY years ago for a little while and they taught us about that in autocrime.

It is either a base IV or a base V.

Fog lights & 17" wheels would make it a V.

Might help, for 2010-2011 in the states the levels are 2 thru 5, not II thru V.

But it's a 2010, where they did use Roman numerals to designate the trim levels. ;)

2010 used uppercase Roman numerals like I, II, III, IV, V.

2011 on did not and went with one, two, three, four, five.
