What's with the stupid star ratings?

    What's with the stupid "star" rating on some threads? Does one star mean it is a POS thread? Is that better or worse than no stars? Do people care? Do people star their own threads? (Me thinks so!)

    Are you talking about "Rate Thread" in the upper right of this thread?

    That's been around for years.

    Ratings appear when at least 2 members vote....5 stars is the best, 1 star is the pits.
