I just got a 2013 Prius IV and it's got Goodyear tires. My 2011 Prius had Yokohamas I think. The ride seems a little softer now, but there may be other reasons than the tires. After further checking on the forum, I recall that the tires are Goodyear Assurance (fuel max).

Goodyear assurance, just picked the car up last Tuesday.

I'm not crazy about them comfortwise... But I'm pretty picky about tires.

Looked at a new Prius on the dealers lot last week. It has Goodyear assurance fuel max tires.
I replaced my original worn out Yokohama Avids with The goodyear fuel max tires, they were my fourth chioce, as In a years time I could not find a set of Michlen ESAS. I took a slight MPG hit with the Goodyears, but ride and interior noise is MUCH less than the Yokohamas. The fuel max tires, now with 10,000 on them, seem to be wearing better + more wet / snow traction too.
Being they make slightly less mpg than the Yokohamas or Michelins, I was supprised to se them as OEM tires on a new Prius. I do feel the slight mpg hit is worth it with the Goodyears being quieter and possibly longer lived.

I also got the Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires on Gen III. The Goodyear Integritys didn't hold up very well on my last Gen II ride, but did get a warranty adjustment on a new set at 24K. Hope the Assurance tires do better.

Bridgestone ecopia 20 came on my 2013, not a bad all season tire but not the best either, handles well in the rain. I'll be getting dedicated snow tires come December since I live in northeast Pa. and wouldn't trust any OEM tire in snowy conditions.

    There looks to be three:

    Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max
    Bridgestone Ecopia
    Yokohama Avid

I noticed no "system" to what your car comes with. When I picked mine up there were two others waiting to be picked up. One had Goodyear, one had Yokohama, and mine has Bridgestone. I've yet to drive mine in the rain or anything to know if they are decent or like the Firestone FR680 tires that came on my Civic that made the car downright dangerous.

Drove my Bridgestones in a few torrential downpours on I 80 and they handled with no problems keeping the speed limit under 55.

Even though you probably have your answer to your question already, I'll chime in. I originally had the Yokohoma Avids on my car when it was delivered. I got about 35K out of those running at 44/42 PSI year round. I now have the Michelin Energy Saver X A/S tires. I love them.

My only 3 months old Prius came brand new with Goodyear Fuel Max Assurance Tires.

So far I'm happy with them. I've had OEM tires that were a lot worse. These actually seem "good".

I've never had OEM tires on a vehicle that seemed to wear well, but I'll see how these do. So far the performance is very good.

Yokohoma Avids are on my wifes, only have 800 miles on them, no issues. Lots of snow here so might need better winter traction but we will see in 4 months how they work.

Same as me to a T. Mine has the Ecopia tires as well. Good all around. Not the best but good. Plan on snows in the winter as well.
