I want to know what everyones feelings are for HU. I see many random thoughts, but I wanted a more concise question.

Please post model number and/or price if you currently own one.

This is going to be really tough for people to answer since you haven't said if you want / need BT, NAV, DVD playback..etc.

I have done some research and no ONE HU is the best any everything.

I voted for Kenwood because I am happy with it. See the link in my signature for more detail.

Same here. The eXcelon units always have the features I want for best sound quality and time alignment.

This is true. But it is open ended. State your reasons why you like it :)

Though I personally am looking for BT (for phone), Cam, and nav. Dvd is nice too :)

Though some may like Rosen for the OEM look. I am curious what everyone's thoughts are. Hard to shop for an item when you cant play with it.

I was at bestbuy and they really had older models, though I did like the JVC a lot. Seemed to have the nicer interface.

In regards to the Kenwood line, their upper end is a bit pricey, and although the speed of the interface is much improved, people are still complain about a little lag in responsiveness on their top of the line 9980HD , everyone is waiting for a firmware update but you know how that goes.

Also take a look at the more affordable Sony XNV-770BT , a really boring interface but a good overall contender.
