    (a) Volk Super Eco 15 inch in Formula Silver

    (b) Weds SA-72r 16inch in Hyper Black Clear

Bottom line price works out to be about the same as Volks or more expensive (and lighter!)
but I can reuse existing 15 inch tire.

    Prius color is Winter Grey

THanks for casting a vote and helping me decide!

Do you plan on lowering your car?

yes just did actually, with TRD springs and rear sway bar. Rides very smooth and handles much better without sacrificing any comfort. I highly recommend it. I know most like to put 17s on a lowered car, but
I think that would make the ride too harsh for my taste (though they'd look good, but thats secondary for me). I think I'm leaning towards the Volks 15inch because I don't want to risk changing how the car feels as it handles quite well now (still smooth over bumps but more confident in turns). Plus they're only 9 pounds.

    Very good!

I would go with the Volks, but make sure that those wheels are still in production.

All else being equal, select the smallest diameter wheels that will clear the brakes to save on unsprung weight and rotational intertia.

As said above, just make sure they're still in production should you need to buy replacements in the future.

Thanks for all the feedback! I was leaning Volk anyway and I think you helped confirm my persuasion.

Just curious, why did everyone pick Volk, was it
    - looks
    - weight
    - size
    - brand reputation
    ?

Assuming you can get good fitment, weight. You want the weight as close to the axis of rotation as possible.

I'd choose Volks purely for the weight. I like Weds, had them on my old 240SX..but for a Prius, totally keep unsprung weight low
