your existing prius to a plug in? You can't opt for the first and then sell it. A conversion will void any warranties you have with toyota.

It depends on which one came with signal mirrors.

I'm with Tony - I'll take that 2010 and wait for the next plug-in.

I'll go with my baby with the plug-in modifications. The company covers whatever part of the warranty is voided and the mileage is absolutely absurd.

I would prefer the plugin mod myself.

2010 for sure, I have no place to recharge a plug in living in an apartment and I drive 40 miles to work with no place to plug in at work.

meaning that a plug in would be more expensive since I would deplete my charge going to work

This is close to the question I have been wrestling with. Trying to decide between a 2009, and a 2010. My other idea is buying a used 2006/ 2007, with just a few thousand miles left on the warranty, and paying for the conversion.

My thinking is, if it's still under warranty, anything major wrong with it would fixed, and I wouldn't be loosing much voiding the warranty. Buying a 2009, or 2010, and paying for the conversion is out of my reach money wise.

Wherecan I read more about the company covering the voided warranty?

As for this question. I don't own a Prius yet, but if I did.... I"d take the plug in, in a heart beat.
