I see 3 different offerings from Rhino: 8,000lb that's only 6-3/4" high, 12,000lb, and 16,000 lb. What ones are the Goldilocks ramps for my Prius?

The ones with the 4 ton limit are fine. The last two are overkill.

You are only going to be supporting one end of the vehicle, so even 4 tons is plenty.

Something else to consider is the width of the ramps. I went with the 16000 because they were wider than the 12000.
I can't find how wide the 8000 ones are. I'm paranoid about driving off the side when I'm driving up them :)

Consider that while the ramps must work for the Prius, this is not the only vehicle you will ever own or work on.

Unfortunately, I am not an advocate of Rhino Ramps. The original ones were OK, until I ran over them and took a chunk out of the low wheel stops.

I sold them and got the nesting wide ones rated for 16,000 pounds. They split at the back where they are nested after a couple of uses.

I'll stick with the more expensive Race Ramps which lift the car an inch higher. The extra inch does make a difference when changing oil.

I thank you all for your comments. I purchased the 12,000lb set because they were available locally and I needed them NOW. My main concern was that the ramps would fit under the nose of the Prius before I drove it onto them. These were perfect in that regard.

    Rhino Ramps $39
Shipping over the pond 75 bucks the cheapest!

    K&N oil filter $4.5 on Amazon.com
Nine quid here in the UK on Amazon.co.uk

I hate this. There is so much great stuff in the US (parts, tools) but shipping and import fees are a killa sometimes.

I imported some Tekton stuff though (breaking bar, torque wrench, impact reduction bits) and amazing Dynaplugs that saved the day a few times.

Well you can certainly get better ramps. Personally, I have had no trouble with my Rhino Ramps.

However, * always* use jack stands as an extra measure of precaution. Or maybe I'm just super paranoid about it.
