    HAHAAA :D

I just got back from the DMV getting my daughter some new plates for her car and this snooty lady is at the counter next to me. She is asked by the DMV lady to confirm that her new car is white and she replies. No, it's Blizzard Pearl... The DMV lady says 'what's that mean'??? I chime in it's Prius lingo for white and the lady gets snooty with me. She said she had to pay extra for her beloved Blizzard Pearl and did not want white listed on her registration papers.

End of story... DMV lady 1 vs Prius driver 0

She had to go with white....

I see the new V comes in white (non-metallic), in Canada. When were Prius shopping we were sort of aiming for BP, but would have preferred regular white, except it was not available. Ended up using the what-have-you-got approach, that worked out just fine.

BTW, "Blizzard Pearl" reminds me of an article I read on resume writing, with a very good suggestion:

Don't use esoteric job descriptions on a resume. Most companies these days use employee job titles that are vague and meaningless (like the position, LOL?). Figure out what it is you actually do, and put a down-to-earth title on the resume. Don't leave the potential employer scratching their head ;)

The DMV screens out any ladies with a smidgeon of a sense of humor and sends them to be jail matrons.

Kinda like what my title was originally, of Senior Specialist. Yep, that really tells you a lot. I am special and all, but I clearly am not yet a Senior in any common meaning of the use.

Shhhh, they don't want you to share their secrets.....

I would have to agree, in that I've NEVER encountered a DMV employee here with any sense of humor. I have had friendly ones, but never with a sense of humor.

That's only on the base model. Luxury, Touring and Touring + Tech Packages have Blizzard Pearl.

Can you tell that Toyota Canada is aiming the base model at taxi companies? :D
