Now that Hilary has conceded and a meeting was conducted between Obama and Hilary, who do you think he should pick as a running mate? My guess is since the two of them were: a) very close in this contest, and b) brought out record number of voters, an Obama/Clinton ticket has a great chance of beating McCain in November. If he doesn't choose Clinton, my bet would be she'd be in his administration somewhere.

If we're talking about who would best increase his chances of winning, I think Hillary is the one. No one else comes close.

In the spirit of Obama's Philadelphia speech, I would not reject her for her numerous sins. She's the aunt equivalent to Obama's occasionally crazy old uncle.

Wesley Clark for military emphasis. Bloomberg if the economy is an emphasis.

    Jim Webb

    Joe Biden

    Chris Dodd

    Bill Richardson

    Sebelius

    Napolitano

    Basically, anyone but Hillary.

I'd like him to pick an old time Republican, not from the Reagan on up bunch of crooks, but one that believes in the old Republican values, it would be hard for Republicans to counter a Democratic/Republican ticket. :D

Hillary would be the worst choice possible, and only believe that would happen if he were "strong armed" into doing so.

I think Hillary. I think its going to be a close race. I think its going to come down to Florida and Ohio again. Right now in my Non scientific I have McCain winning 277 electoral votes to 263. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Carl Lewis, he would have no trouble keeping up while he is out running. Ben Johnson might be a candidate if he has enough drug connections to keep him topped up.

Bill Richardson would bring the Hispanic vote (though he didn't bring a whole lot of anything in the primaries!). He's well respected in the party, if I'm not mistaken.

Joe Biden likes Obama--says that he is is clean and articulate. ;)

I figure Hillary is out of the question, if only because of visions of her hubby butting in all over the place.

I'm sure Dick Cheney would be happy to lend a hand.

I don't know about Obama, but I think McCain should pick as a running mate the person who helped his campaign the most: Hillary Clinton.

Bill Richardson. Obama can steal a bunch of Hispanic votes from McCain that way.

Hilllary has run the country once already, it's time for her to retire.

If we're due for getting a female in office, I'd pick Pamela Anderson.
She knows about as much as any female candidate, but she'd look ALOT better doing it. At least I wouldn't gag watching her, unlike Witch Hillary.

As for a male candidate who's dependable and wants real change, I'd have to pick ....uhhh .....our very own BILL MERCHANT.
(even his name sounds like he means business!)

    GO....Bill Merchant!

It will probably be Hillary. Obama said he wanted her "next to him" in the campaign--in his statement yesterday. Read the words.
McCain will lose in a landslide. People are hurting.
