H&R lowering springs are on their way. The drop is 1.4" front and .7" rear. I'm wondering if I need the alignment kit that H&R sells with it. Is it something that (if needed) I need to buy ahead of time and will need to be installed at the same time of the spring installation, i.e., when the guy takes my suspension apart? Or is it just as economical to wait until after the springs are installed?

PS the alignment will be done at a separate place.

Given the difference in the drop between front and rear, I wonder if the spring rates are revised up to compensate.

If H&R sells the camber kit for the lowering springs, the car probably needs the kit. Better buy it with the springs. It's probably going to be installed while the springs are removed so it will save you labour charges to have it all installed at once.
