Will one of these power the 2015 Prius?

    Probably not. They are intended to be used in -small- cars, as I understood it. Think "Smartcar", Fiat 500, and other tiny toys.

    One other thing, they are an -alternative- to a hybrid car. Removing the "hybrid cost overhead" (whatever that is!) without removing the fuel economy. So no, they would not be used in a hybrid car. Now, let's be clear, they will probably be using more advanced engine technology, and THAT may be used in a future Prius. But in hybrid form.
