Will Toyota add a line-in jack on '06 Priuses?

    More and more companies are realizing the enormous benefit of a simple, cheap line-in jack.

    GM has decided to enter the 21st century.
    Even the Hilton hotel chain is getting with the program.
    Also, the Honda Element includes such a jack as standard equipment.

    Is there any word on the '06 Prius line, and whether Toyota will take this simple, cheap, and highly necessary step? Can we petition Toyota? Does anyone at Toyota read this board?

    I have no stats, but common sense would say that Prius drivers would be more likely to have mp3 players than the general car-buying population.

    The seemed to think MP3 playback wasn't necessary, so line-in may still not be available. I wish they grasped that a WIDE group of people want a Prius, and spent the extra buck or two on a full-featured audio setup. Overkill isn't always a waste...
