I found a good deal on some Scion FR-S wheels and they have the stock TPMS sensors. He has the serial numbers for them, so I wanted to see if I can have the dealer program those serial numbers to work with my 2012 Prius. Or I will have to get the ones on my wheels swapped over?

It looks like they use different TPMS, so I would say no?

Yes it can be done, or even an aftermarket shop can do it..I know of one in Hawthorne that can reprogram it for a lot less than the dealer :p

not sure if it will detect, but i do know that if you can get the serial numbers you can input them on your ecu very easily if you have a tool that can get to a ecu(very cheaper than taking it to toyota) If you're in the bay area i could recommend a friend of mine to register the SNs

I haven't gotten them yet, but want to know if I can. I rather just use the sensors in the wheels instead of doing a swap.

Does anybody know of somebody that can do it in San Diego area?
