I have been through a few itterations of a nice logo that is suitable to attach to the rear of the Prius but I figure that there MUST be a graphics art person that can do a better job!!

So here is the deal: Let's have a contest for the coolest looking logo. For the one we choose to use, not only will they be recognized as the winner of our logo contest but they will get a FREE BT Tech CNC stiffening plate as a token of thanks!!

Please submit your ideas HERE so that everyone can see and when we have a number of ideas, all of the members can vote for the best designed logo and the winner will be anounced.

Let's see those artistic types come up with something really nice and cool looking!!

I assume you want a "BT Tech" logo.

Do you want specifically a BT Tech Stiffening Plate logo?

    Hello Godiva,

We are looking for just a BT Tech type logo, not product specific.

My drawing standards are at about grade 3 level so I'm not in the race but I have a question for the benefit of anyone thinking about doing a design who already has a BT Tech stiffening plate.

Could you take the price of the BT stiffening plate off the price of an under-tray or strut brace instead?

    Good luck with it.

Oh a sugestion for a sticker, make it a size and shape to fit within the blacked out area of the small back window.

Since this is going to be stuck on the car those Jegs sticker all the hicks put on their supped up trucks around here I'm sticking to a simple b&w design unless you want something more graphic. Here is a quick two. The need a little more work to smooth things out and I can vectorize the final design if I get to be the lucky one.

Is there anything your looking for in a logo? Font? Color? Little bits of simple objects that company's like to have in a logo? I'm not very creative unless I have a little bit of feedback.

Brian, could we have a few more details to work with, please? Here are some things that might help:

    1. Duration of the "contest," i.e. is there a deadline, or just when something cool pops up?
    2. Do you have a website, or another place where we can see existing graphics, if there are any?
    3. Do you want the logo to be general use, or Prius-specific?
    4. What does BT stand for? Company name? Your name?
    5. What kind of feeling are you going for, other than "cool."

Are you planning on this being a static cling window decal, a flat vinyl 'bumper sticker', or more of a raised type logo (see my Razorback decal below)?

Keep the ideas coming everyone!! The logo that I have in mind is something like what Evan posted below. A nice classy rasied logo that will look OEM in appearance and classy.

My original idea was something like this:

Paris Hilton could use it as a seat for her swing.

I Do not have a prius so I will not want any thing but if I can come up with some thing I will post it.

Heh... ribs upward or downward on that swing seat??
    .
Well, that's how to bring all the aspiring [and established]
graphic artists out of the woodwork, huh... Lessee, I think
you told me your main line of product is suspension enhancement
in general, and the Prius stuff is just a sideline, right?
Should candidate logos reflect that, or are we limiting to
    the Prius here?

Another idea from a person who has no idea.
The B in BT should be open at the back of the top loop to match the P and R in Prius on the badge on the 2004 > 2008 Prius. This would look more genuine.

    Another idea.
A small BT Tech stiffening plate with the socket head screws in the corners less of the relief cut Xes and the lettering over the top. All made to sit along side the HSD badge under Prius on the rear hatch.

I wish I knew how to draw what I see.

Let me know if I need to shut up.

I like this for a decal (probably too problematic for raised metal). Very nice graphics and text.

    Thanks Boo.

Since it contains two colors. It is a better fit for decals.
Basically, green is for greenness and blue is for blue sky.
I overlapped two 'T' with slight offset so that you still can see two Ts
but that shortens the overall length(or width) significantly.

For chrome badge, it is also possible to use dual tones.
"BT" in shinny chrome, "Tech" in darker chrome (with a coating?).
"REINFORCED" should be in the same shinny chrome as "BT".

This logo looks AWESOME Ceric!!!! What I wanted to do was to have slightly raised letters machined out of aluminum. It will probably have to be one color (silver) but I will find out how much it will cost to add colors.

Keep the designs coming but so far this one looks GREAT!!

All right... here are a few different ideas. The first one I'd put over one of the standard badges (e.g. toyota or Prius) so it looks like it's bolted on ;) The red in the second is car-paint.. of course there'd be little sprues holding all the bits together, like in "Prius" or it could all be raised out of a solid backing. I sort of like the "low-tech" contrast of the first 3, but it's a little less "clean" and I imagine people will like the more streamlined looks better.
