This happened with the Gen 2 and it still happens with 2015 Prius in that the whole cars 'moves' side to side when the wipers wipe. :(
Also when there is a car that fly pass you when you were stopped, the car shakes with that high speed wind.

welcome! i can see the wind, but i've never experienced the car moving with the wipers. you may want to look at suspension mod threads, like a chassis stiffening plate, etc. all the best!(y)

I also can't say I've noticed it with the wipers.
But I can say I've noticed it when cars zoom pass, especially a larger vehicle.

But most of the vehicles I've owned in my life have been smaller, lighter vehicles and this reality is simply "physics".

I got the same affect in my Honda Fit. Even my 1990's Accord.

And if the trade off is better gas mileage....I'll deal with the "wind".

Grew up driving a 80's Toyota Tercel. That car had great MPG BUT if you put the wipers on high it would actually *start moving sideways.

    *slight exaggeration

The Prius is a rock by comparison.

That would be believeable if you happen to be a fly resting on a wiper blade. It's relativity ...

Suspension mods helped remove the waving motion when a car passes me on opposite sides.

I almost forget it did do this early on before mods.

I'll pay more attention now that you mention it.
