Wont start

    I was working on my 2005 prius installing my lights and sirens. After I put it back together it wouldnt start. I didn't cut any wires (that I know of) or tie anything into the 12v system yet. It will go to acc but when I try to start it it beeps and shuts off.

    Any help would be nice.

    Measure the voltage of the 12V battery. Maybe it needs to be charged or if it won't hold a charge, replaced.

    12v battery is fine, it measures 12.9v. That was my first thought too.

    The only suggestion I have then, is that you have to check your work and look for a fault that you introduced. Pretty hard to do that from a distance. Good luck.

    did you disconnect the hybrid battery interlock mechanism?
