So unfortunately got in a crash, hit a guardrail and the damage on my 2006 Prius is more than I'd care to pay for. Trying to sell private sale but I'd like to know what the estimated value of my car is. Has 132,000 miles and brand new tires which I am estimating are worth another $150. Title was salvage before I bought it as well but has no issues from that crash. Mechanic told me my damage would cost around $3,000 with brand new parts, and has mostly body damage other than a broken radiator. Should note that although door doesn't look damaged, it will only open slightly but mechanic said this could probably be repaired as is. Side not shown in pictures is totally fine. How much should I be asking for this?

Oh hell that's more than $3000 worth of damage......just on the back.

List it for $1000......good engine, transmission, tires, and battery. Somebody hopefully will buy it

Non-running, totaled vehicle that has to be towed? Barely worth over scrap value. $250 to $500.
Parting it would net you more, but take longer. Save tires for last.

You can't buy a battery for $500 these days

If the interior is grey, I's ure like to buy the floor mats. And maybe a couple other parts.

If the car drives, list it for around $1200 and let someone talk you down to $1000. You might even try $1500 see if you can sell for $1200 even. Prius parts aren't too expensive. Bumper is about $200, Hood is $150, Quarter panel is $50, Headlight is $50. If there's no damage to the suspension of the driver's front wheel or other engine parts (e.g. radiator) you could get it into fair condition for under $500 doing the work yourself and good condition for under $1000. There are guys out there who buy multiple broken Prii and combine parts to making working ones and resell. If you were in Denver, I'd happily buy it for $1000.

If it were me I would try to sell the HV battery first maybe around $700, then just call someone tow it away and get scrap value for it.

If there are some small parts you could sell on ebay, it might be worth it trying to get $'s for those depending on how much time you want to spend taking things apart and trying to sell them.
