Would an after-factory Viper alarm mess with the Carista app?

    I'm installing a viper alarm tomorrow (just the basics) but I also plan to buy the odm adapter and download the Carista app. It might be a stupid question but I really don't know much about cars. Lol Should I be ok?

    You'll be fine, nothing should be affected. Fyi, we have a 2015 Prius 2 and Viper remote start and use Carista and a cheap ebay obd2 adapter, works perfect.
