would i be able to swap a 2005 radio for a 2006 and up?

    Hello,

    i'm buying a 2005 prius with navi and 6disc jbl radio unit. I thought it would be able to play mp3 but i read here that only 06 and up models can. Would i be able to just find a 06 and up jbl radio from another prius and swap it out? would i need any other harness to make this happen?
