Okay, here's the deal....spoke with several dealers in past 3 weeks looking for a package #3. Found decent pricinng but wrong color on 6, 7 and 8. THEN today had a call about a package #8 for 27,800. Is this a good price? Hmmm, I think so, but now hubby has coooooold feet, wants to wait, ...any feedback?

So is your concern the price or the package #8?

If it's MSRP than that's pretty standard pricing.

As for the package, personally I'm waiting to buy a 3 and have been offered numerous 7s and 8s. But I'm holding firm on the 3 because I don't want to pay for all those other extras.

That's about $1400 under MSRP for pkg #8. I paid about the same for a pkg #7 (same, without leather). If that's the car you want, it's a good deal.

27,800 sounds like a good price, if that's all it is. I checked around North Carolina, and the same package is running a tad over 30,000 here. Good luck...and Happy motoring

That is a great price that is under MSRP. I wanted a lesser option package too but didn't want to wait so I bought a # 8 for about $ 1300 more than you quoted 10 days ago. Per the others above it depends on if you want to pay for the options. I also noticed that on the used car market, options seemed to sell a car quicker.

Yeah. I say go for is foxy lady, er LadyFox. Besides, they'll fill up the tank for you, right? That's good for about 500 miles. That counts for something. :)

Wow! That's a great price! I just paid full MSRP for my pkg 8, and it was just under $30k. Wish I could have gotten that price!

I got mine for about what she has, and that was out the door for me, same thing 2006 pkg #8 (driftwood pearl) and just filled up for my 2nd tank yesterday, getting about 51mpg for the life of the car, got 52mpg on the last tank, still learning how to drive her.

I say go for it, you and hubby won't regret it at all.
