Feel free to state the serious, obvious, absurd and/or the personal:

    Obama delivers on his promises

The price of gas goes up to fund the healthcare system and results in environmentally friendly cars to be manufactured

More people were like Paul Neuman and Joanne Woodward

My wife could readily recite my good habits and fumble with my bad ones

Professional athletes worried about the fan's cost of tickets

My dog would follow my instructions ....all of the time

...the residents of our little village could ever agree on any issue. Everything we do results in a battle between two entrenched groups. We needed a sanitary sewer system. The town voted to do it. The council voted to do it. A small but stubborn anti-sewer group tried to recall the council. When that didn't work, they filed a half-dozen lawsuits.

Now we need a new superintendent for the school. We have some great candidates, but they are all from out of town. A small vocal group of parents and residents wants to put their man in office, simply because he is "one of us". Never mind that he has no experience and bad references, both personally and professionally. This is making my position on the school board interesting.

Beam me up Scotty, I can't take the small town politics.
