wrecked base= new touring

Well my 6 month old blue package #3 got totalled out in a bad crunch the other day, (no injuries).
Now that I've been reading all about the touring edition, I jumped at the chance to upgrade to the touring Prius. And after driving the new one around for the past couple of days, all I can say is wow! What a difference! The touring Prius is a totaly different car. It is everything that the base one should have been.
The suspension is spot on! No need to get the BT brace (sorry Brian). No need to buy new tires before they wear out. No need to get the sportivo set to correct all the little handling problems (for me anyway).
And I didn't have to wait in line for the next one to come, got the color that I wanted and got a thousand knocked off the MSRP.
So if anyone is on the fence about which Prius to get... let me give you a gentle nudge to the touring edition.
