    Can someone help me out.

Background. I've never listed to XM before anywhere.

XM's web page say they have 130 channels. OK. No problem.

My Prius III No. Nav has XM1, XM2 and XM3. Each seems to have between 100-200 channels. So how does XM1, XM2 and XM3 map into the 130 channels offered by XM. How come XM is separated into XM1, XM2 and XM3.

Shouldn't it be just XM. It is confusing to me.

    Thanks

XM1 XM2 XM3 are just preset 'pages' for you to store channels in. XM1 can store 6 channels, XM2 can store another 6 channels and XM3 can store 6 more channels so you can store a total of 18 of your favorite channels on 3 separate 'pages'.

It's no different from having FM1, FM2 etc in other vehicles. And there are FM1 FM2 etc 'pages' in the Prius... No different from that.

Oh. I see. Thank you so much. It is clear as day now. Thanks. I'll give it a try again on the night commute.
