How is the $26K sound with floor mat included? Package #6 with Touring edition.

    Thanks.

That's very close to what I was offered for the exact same thing (I just posted minutes ago under "Consumer Reports bottom line pricing...") I've now emailed other dealerships asking if they can beat this price ($25,996) and noone has responded to the offer. However, as I note in my posting, I'm unclear if the dealer is getting an additional $2,000 incentive from the company.

Do you think the quotes for California and South Carolina would be different? The reason I ask is the lowest quote I received for a 07' package 6 NON-TOURING was 26,033, without tax license and other crappy fees.

Nice deal.... Maybe, I should come down to SoCal to buy it. Is this ok to drive a brand new car on extended freeway drive?

Sounds like a good deal. My 2007 Prius Touring was almost $24k and it is only a standard model with no added options.

That's fantastic and beats any thing I've been offered yet. I like the fact you have already purchased it so you KNOW there are no last minute "fees." Any circumstances to explain the price? The 3M options also sound really good. I assume they were dealer installed? Did you ask for them or were they already on the model they sold you. Did you compromise on color or anything?

    Thanks.

There ARE regional differences. According to Consumer Reports' New Car Buying Guide (updated 5/21/07) there is an LA Dealer Incentive of $500 (but we pay more for gas!)

I, too, am getting initial offers around $26,000 for the Touring pkge #6. However, I'm also collecting stories from others on this website who have done better. The results (excluding tax and license) are as follows:

    Bay Area, 5/7/07 OFFER $25,400

    Scafremon, 5/21/07 OFFER $25,188. (plus a $55 doc fee)

MHS, 5/21/07 PURCHASE $25,786 (included mats, cargo net, bra, etc)

ooganya 5/07, PURCHASE $25,600 (plus doc fee)

I understand from the latest Consumer Reports prices (updated 5/21/07), there is a current $500 Incentive in the LA area meaning the "bottom line" price in Southern Cal is $24,589. A 4% margin of profit for the dealer would put the price at $25,572.

Please post your price if you have received a solid offer or made a purchase in this range (below $26,00) for a Touring, Package 6 (excluding tax & license).

    Thanks!

We just ordered an 07 touring, pkg #6 from our dealer for $25,634 plus t,t & l...seems like that's pretty much right in the same range as others. Good luck getting your car!

Could one of you that got a touring #5 or #6 in the last 4 months scan your purchase order thingy and pm it to me? I'm working the dealer down and I need to show them another dealer can meet the price.

Prices in CA look amazing compared to up here in Seattle. The best dealer quote for Touring #6 I have is $26900 including the CF mats, the only other who responded wants $28200. A broker managed to find $26600 but it will get some mileage from the dealer it will come from mid-state.
