...you get home, walk up to your front door, grab the handle, and expect it to unlock for you.

This is probably a "been there done that" thread but hey, just throwing it out there ;)

That Smart Key is the best thing since sliced white bread!!!!
I hate looking for the keys to the other car now . makes it real nice when it rains and no need to play pocket fetch with the keys.

It has, but it's always a fun one. I've done that with my keys too. I've also sat in the front seat of our old van and wonder what I have to do next. How soon we forget.

...you tell your wife you want to take separate cars to the grocery store because the added weight would screw up your mileage.

I think it's also good as a security measure if you are in an emergency. Some random weirdo is following you, you run to the car, no need to look for the keys/operate keys. It will save you tens of valuable seconds in such a case.

...you're driving a non-Prius and the engine stops at the light. You think that's normal until the light turns green and you try to drive away.

When you drive a conventional car and you still try to pulse and glide then arrive to your destination and spend 5 seconds hunting for the park and power buttons.

That is one feature I wish my 2007 Prius Touring had. The smart key feature sounds like a great idea!! Yep...with mine I actually have to push the 'unlock' button before getting in.

You spend twenty dollars for gas and start complaining at work, and get NO sympathy from anyone!!!!!

Then the same situation happens when you start complaining that your mileage was terrible on your last tank, you only got 53.5 mpg!!

Okay I'm a new owner and I have to say I was a lead foot. But for the quest of good gas mileage I have changed my ways. I am actually am happy to see slow traffic, I go out of my way to avoid the freeway. I will say that I tend to get mad when I'm going 58 on a 55 and people honk and flip me off while they pass me.

I thought about this too. I guess our Prius will never make it to the scarey movie. They always ran to the car and drop their key. And the key always end up under the car and you are trying to reaching for the key, you will see the killer feet. hehe.
