    I had the white "GAS/ELECTRIC HYBRID" decals on my seaside pearl- now that I have the black '06, what color decals should I purchase? White may stand out too much, yet gray may not be visible.

    Thanks...

    PS- Still taking names for him/her!

    Ok, here's my suggestion for YOUR new name:

    MidnightTraveler

    As for decals, I vote, NONE!! Black ones look so sweet when they're nice and simple. And everyone in California already knows that your prius is a hybrid ;) Take off the emblems while you're at it!

    Color-appropriate Car names:

    Beauty (as in black beauty) or...
    Black Beauty
    Mariah, or Black Mariah (in honor of thomas edison)
    Black Sheep
    Black Death
    "The Schwartz" (if you're a sci-fi nerd you'll recognize the movie source, and if you speak german it'll be twice the joke!)
    Darth Prius (sorry, that last one took me in this direction and it seems so right that now I wish I had a black one... almost ;) )

    I thought of Darth yesterday... Good input. "midnight traveler" sounds kinda like a lady of the evening muahahaha.... keep 'em comin!

    My seaside was pretty stickered up, and looked cute, but I like the sleek low key look of the clean black... hmmmmmmmm I always decorate my cars and people love it- but this may be a first! I must at least put the HRC equal sign sticker haha

    Nah, actually i have the EPA MPG decal with the little fuel pump decal on the back. And i have a Seaside pearl. Check my pics out at http://markwei.blogspot.com

    The pic of the decal is somewhere halfway down. Look for the photo that shows the back end. I'm actually going to put the TRD emblem (which is reddish) don't know how that will go.. maybe i'll remove the rear 'hybrid' emblem..

    Seems like all those decals are an invitation to an "anti-smug" keying. I've been hesitant to put any decals on the car for just that reason.
