    Hi eagle,

Hey, how did you do that (other than retyping it from scratch which I presume you didn't do)?

    Uggggh!!!!

I just finished using the IRS' economic stimulus payment calculator to determine the amount of my payment.

The conclusion: No payment for Boo.

I suppose you are going to mail back your check to the treasury. Uh Huh...

And I also suppose you pay extra payroll taxes and extra property taxes and extra taxes here and there... to the feds and your state of residence respective governments. SURE you do....

That's a new one to me; one who thinks a politician is a traitor that refunds taxes paid back to all tax paying Americans; rich and poor.

First, the government is spending tens of millions of dollars to notify & send money it doesn't have to some taxpayers and non-payers. That's a real bright move. Second, I've heard but not confirmed that this is an advance against the taxpayer's 2008 refund. Third, yes, IMO he should be tried for treason but this stunt is the least of his sins.

It must have really hurt the President to sign that piece of paper.

Did he even stop to think how many bombs he could buy with
all that money he's giving back?:noidea:

That said, mine's already spent. I had the AC system in my abode upgraded, and my wallet is soooo empty.

It sounds to me, a complete outsider that someone is sending a government funded payment to voters during an election campaign. What would you make of that?

My father (who died last July) will be getting his stimulus payment in June; his notice explaining it all arrived last week. Just how stimulating will this payment be?

(of course, I am in the last group as always - they'll be out of money by the time we get to July 11 if my luck holds)

The stupidest administration ever thinks the general public is just as stupid. And unfortunately, for the most part, they are correct.

We are borrowing money to give to people to spend to stimulate an economy that is flatlined because we have been borrowing too much money. That's f*cked up.
