My Car: 2006 Prius Package: #5 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 |  Voice recgognition for the bluetooth phone connection works very reliably for my Prius (package 5). I noticed that cars with package 7 (nav package) can use voice recgognition to change climate control, radio modes, etc, in addition to the nav system voice modes. My question is: Is the voice recognition for the non-nav functions built into the nav system, or does connecting the nav system just activate them? If it's the later, is there a way to activate them in a non-nav system car? Sy Cohen |
