Their website claims that the SLI is compatible with 06 (i think i remember someone saying a while ago that it was, and i ignored them because the Dice was supposed to be up soon)... Given that the Dice is taking so long, have any '06ers gotten this and installed it? i'm really just looking for testimonials as to how well it works in '06's, limitations, that sort of thing.

I don't have a 2006 Prius so I honestly can't say. But the reports are that it is working great. To use the SLI in a 2006/7 Prius it should be set to MP3 CD emulation, this is great because more lines of text can be displayed on the screen at one time. The problem is that Toyota has implemented a number of "safety" features that limit the ability to select different folders. It is a limitation of the radio, not the SLI.

I have a 06 with Nav & Blutooth- the VAIS SLI works great for me. No problems at all
