After disconnecting everything and reconnecting with the DIP switches all in the up/off position I think things are working....I'll need to play some more to be sure.
I'm not clear on how you can see the play lists as it seems to be showing just the album and song on my display....but, like I said, more 'playing around' is in order.

You can't see playlist names - you'll only see the first song's title in the playlist.
