Inside the center console, there is a little flap with AUX written on it, open it and there will be a green hole there. Plug the cable in, plug the other end into your iPod and switch to AUX on the dash. Should be good to go, only thing is, you have to change the songs through the iPod wheel. |

You can buy a connector that plugs into the iPod earphone plug or one that plugs into the digital interface (where you sync to iTunes). You have to put your stereo in AUX mode. Use the search function and you will find about a hundred threads on the topic - to include more advanced/integrated options that display song information on the MFD or allow you to use the steering wheel controls. |

My Car: 2007 Prius Package: #3 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Some AV 3.5mm cables also have three rings, one for video, the other two for stereo audio. Usually this type has three RCA jacks on the other end though. I have yet to see a 3.5mm-3.5mm AV cable. When in doubt, read the package. It should say Stereo or Mono. Oh, and for iPod, I think the AV 3.5mm cable is non-standard. So if you want to also output video you'll need to get an Apple cable to be sure. Last edited by zenMachine; 09-30-2008 at 02:27 PM. |
