My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 |  New problem with 6601 and Prius (phonebook) I have already reported that the 6601 does not transmit signal strength thus making it impossible to initiate a call from the Prius. I have now found that although you can upload contacts from the 6601 to the Prius, those contacts are unusable. They stay greyed out in the Prius phonebook (even when the car is not moving). There must be something wrong with the format that the 6601 sends. So this means that even if you could initiate a call from the Prius, you could not use any of the names and phone numbers you transferred from the 6601. This is the second Bluetooth bug when being used handsfree in a car like the Prius or Accura. If hopefully if there is a Sprint Bluetooth fix it will fix this bug. |
