My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | I had a Pioneer 400 Watt 10in. sub installed in the rear passenger cubby. This is only a faceplate not a custom fiberglass box. Also had a 250 Watt MTX amp installed under the removable floorboard in the tray. When the amp was installed he left two feet of extra wire so I could remove the tray so I could get to my spare tire if needed. The sound is a comprable to a sealed fiberglass box. And, the total cost of product and installation was only $300 compared to the $1000 or more I have seen posted. I have attached pics. |

Generally the issue with this kind of approach is that you can't get a real sealed airspace behind it, but it's possible that you don't really need one if the driver is designed for infinite baffle setups. |
