Friends: 12 | 2010 is going to be a VERY busy year by all accounts. Not only is ever major car maker going to have an EV on the market, but the show rooms will also be overflowing with the million fuel cell vehicles that GM promised to have SOLD by then. |

Friends: 0 | hopefully we'll see diesel hybrids and electrics like the tesla in the future that have decent performance (what an idea!) the golf hybrid will hopefully be able to be modded to perform like the GTi....toyota COULD be cool and make an MR2 plug in hybrid or EV.... |

Friends: 6 | ^lol toyota can easily make a hi perf hybrid but theres no market for it yet, toyota usually waits and beats the competition after the fact, they were pretty wild by releasing the prius way ahead of the demand but of course it paid off until there are faster ways to charge an EV it really wouldnt benefit people that drive a lot, and to me thats the people that need to save the most gas...and not the weekend 10mile/day type of guy LOL |

Friends: 4 | Time for a reality check .... How can the masses be clamoring in a few short years, for a car that takes ... 4 hours to recharge (you can only drive the cars range (what, 220 miles) per day ... It's like 'crap, we've got a $30k car we can't take on a trip or we'll be stuck waiting for recharge) ---------------- In my not so humble opinion, a plug-in hybrid gas electric vehicle is the best approach for mainstream improvement, and Toyota is promising that in the Prius in just 2 short years. The other's trying to go all-electric from the get go, I think will find a much smaller market. |

Friends: 10 | by fall of 2009, i predict there will be more than 2 dozen EV's out there... some will be road worthy and able to go from town to town (something i cannot do currently... unless the towns are right next to each other) |

Friends: 9 | i think that the electric car will offset the use of oil and not be a full replacement that will only be possible in 10 years or so......i think! |
