Newbie here, coming up on 1000 miles on my 2008!

Do these really have to go back to the stealership to get changed? Is there any way a DIYer can change these settings?

Is it true that for the 08 Prius you can't disable the reverse beep?

No, it's not true. I've done it on mine. (You can do the seatbelt buzzer too, but my wife always delays putting her's on, so I left that one on.)

I tried to disable the reverse Beep following these instructions, but it did not work. Maybe it doesn't work on my 2005.
Anyone know?

Never mind, It worked after I did it RIGHT!
