Does anybody out there know of a person or company in the Los Angeles or San Fernando Valley areas who is experianced with installing this stuff? I though maybe I could do it, but it entails removing parts of the dash and video screen and I'm getting cold feet. I'd really appreciate any reference.

With the instructions provided with those items any local radio/stereo installer can do them with easy...they always take apart dashes and such and all that stuff is plug-and-play or plug and tap a wire.

But, and this is obviously totally up to you, I strongly encourage you to try this yourself. it's a great way to learn more about your car, to get a bit comfortable with this kind of moding and will give you a nice sense of gratification when you're done. Coastal Dave's instructions are very step-by-step and easy to follow. You'd have to really mess up to break anything...even if you get stuck just take the car to the stereo guys and they'll fix it for ya.

Start with the auto door lock...it's about as straight forward as you can get and involves very little disassembly of the car.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I wish someone would make videos of the different installations. I found an excellent one for installation of the EV mod, but that seems to be all there is. The CoastalETech's instructions are good, but I think that if someone sold install vids for download, they'd find some takers. I'd be first in line!
