Backup camera

How can I add a Prius backup camera to my 2004? Where can I get the proper Toyota kit? Can I get one from a salvage yard?

I'm pretty certain Toyota doesn't provide a kit. You can do it via alternate methods including CoastalETech's kit. That seemed to expensive to me so I did it using a license plate camera obtained with a web search. This approach requires a TV monitor. Another approach is using CAN-View with video options. Getting the wiring from the camera on the license plate up to the TV monitor can be quite a PITA though. I've go it almost all wired, but still have some clean up to do.
