Default Main Things NOT Covered by the Warranty

I can read all the things that are covered by the warranty and extended warranties, but what I'm wondering is - what are the common things that are NOT covered?

Not an exhaustive list (unless it already exists - link please?)... just the "common" repairs that have occurred, but were not covered. I can imagine taking my new car in for a repair, and the dealer saying, "oh, your widget-n-cogs are bad. but those aren't covered by the warranty unless a UFO lands on your car during game 7 of the Wold Series"

Hardly obvious. They couldn't have hidden the info better. On the Toyota Financial Services website, the list of excluded items from the Platinum plan is deeply buried as a link in a footnote.

* * * * *

There's no need to include the hybrid components in any of Toyota's extended warranties because the hybrid system is already warranted for 8 years/100,000 miles, and even longer in some states.
