Friends: 4 | Everything worked perfect yesterday.. went and got in my car today and the screen is dead.... so is the bluetooth!.. everything else works perfect!.... audio, pwr steering, radio, , airconditioner, overhead lighting, odometer, clock.. all accessories seem to work as normal. Thank goodness I got the extended warranty as I have 88K on it now! I tried to check fuses but found nothing.. my manual doesn't correlate to the panel over the inside instrument fuses the same either. At any rate.. seems every fuse that has a description of having anything to do with the display also fuses other things too that are working fine.... maybe only the display went out?.. but why would I also lose my bluetooth? Nothing beeps or makes any noise either when I put my finger anywhere on the screen. It appears to truly be dead rather than just not showing.

Friends: 10 | bummer man!! i suppose its not possible that you turned the screen off then? now if the screen display is off, would that make the touch screen function non operational as well? on the normal startup screen the switch from energy to consumption button would be in the lower left corner of the screen... if you hit that, can you hear the beeping sound? as far as the BT, that implies that something has gone out. can you check for codes? |

I don't know how to turn the screen off and on... its always on? but pushing any areas on the screen does nothing as far as making any sounds or beeps.. Seems its deader than a dornail "as we say in Texas" | |

Friends: 10 | i am still trying to understand why the BT stopped working too. or is it simultanaeous failural coincidences? as far as turning off the screen, a lot of people do it because the light bothers them at night. Last edited by DaveinOlyWA; 07-18-2009 at 08:58 PM. |
