Friends: 0 | Where can I find white corner headlights? Do you need a different bulb to effectively use white corners (I have OEM HID lamps)? Thanks! |

Friends: 23 | white..... corners..... I assume you mean the yellow reflector? That's nothing to do with the headlights but rather the side marker lights (or parking lights). It's just a plastic reflector that can be removed. |

Friends: 0 | Yes, that is exactly what I'm talking about - the white/clear "reflector." I'm still looking for these after unsuccessful searches on Google. I can't seem to find the part anywhere online. Can anybody steer me in the right direction? Also, does the correct install require changing the orange bulb to a clear bulb? And, do I have to bake the headlight to replace this headlight, or can a shop do it for me? Thanks! |

Friends: 23 | Hmmm... I'm not sure where you can get a replacement part for that. Most just remove the orange reflector (illegal, yes since you won't have a reflector for the front edge of the vehicle.. that and we require orange not clear reflectors). I believe the bulbs are white but you can double check for yourself. They're really easy to access under the hood. |

Friends: 0 | Did some research - As far as I understand, it's legal in California to have clear corners. Does anybody have the directions/parts needed for this mod? I'm still at a loss and desperate, especially since it seems like a pretty common mod (even though I understand the average Prius owner does not mod at all). Thanks. |

Friends: 23 | well like I said, you can take out the headlights and smash the orange reflectors to bits (or remove them if you're able to) to get the clear-corner effect. You're on your own finding an actual clear reflector (maybe a bike shop?). |

Friends: 0 | Maybe this is a better question; What do the kidz in Japan do? Because almost every modified Prius I see (which happens to be Japanese) has the clear corners. If you take a look at any of the threads on this forum that has pictures, you'll see what I'm talking about. |

Friends: 3 | Prius in japan does not have the yellow reflectors on their headlights. I have a set/pair of headlights from Japan right now (early model Gen 2 HID housing - these are the ones without the LED looking lights inside). My friend shipped me the wrong set since I need the later set of headlights (those with the LED looking lights inside). If anyone is interested on these set let me know. this is how the light looks like... |

Friends: 0 | bino, thank you for sharing your knowledge and that image. I'm not interested in the old HID housing you have, but I am STRONGLY interested in that later set of headlights you are also waiting for. Do you think you can get your friend in Japan to also get one for me? Is the install easy and of course, how much would it cost? Thanks again. |
