checking dash lights

I just got a used 2007 prius and am wondering if there is a way to test check the dash lights. I know like most cars the dash warning lights come on as you push the button.. I have noticed that not all of the lights come on.. should they? I can see a shadow of a big triangle and maybe some others.

You can test the red triangle by putting it in drive and opening the door.

I guess you don't have a manual? That would list all the lights. I don't think they all come on during startup.

I have the manual.. The red triangle I guess is the only one that I can't test.. well couldn't test.. some light up at start.. and others come on from steering wheel buttons.

I will try your method to confirm the light works..

Ok, I am curious. Who has gotten the Big Red Triangle often enough to burn out the bulb? Raise your hands!
