Friends: 0 | I noticed last night that the tray beneath the gear shift console is not lighted. What is the best avenue to install a small light under the console to be on at night when the driving lights are turned on? |

Friends: 9 | Why not try to find something that is made to plug into the cigarette lighter there that lights up? I know they make air fresheners that heat up by plugging them in and they light up as well. Flashlights are also made to fit in there to keep their charge, maybe they make one that lights up dimly and has a pivot-able head on it... |

Friends: 0 | Install a couple of LED's like in the glove box and just have them on all the time just like the glove box. No problem o. Or do a search - there are a number of threads here that show you how to add extra lighting. |

Friends: 0 | I did a quick install with a blue LED in the console using the hole directly under the gear shifter and connected it to the 12v outlet connector in the console. Taking the top off the console and removing the rear console was quite easy with the correct tools It is too bright so I am going to put a yellow difuser over it and make it green to match the rest of the LCD's, and dimmer. |
