Friends: 37 |  What tires did you get on your 2010? As I and others on PC have reported before, there are 3 different tire models on both the 15" and 17" tires. I noticed that our first confirmed 2010 Prius owner, winebuff, has the 15" Yokohama Avid tires (though I can't tell the exact model). What else are we seeing? So might I be getting tires better suited for all-season? It's based on factors like availability and pricing of the tires at the time of production. I'm not imagining a big regional variance, but I thought it might be interesting to have some data on it.

Friends: 18 | Re: What tires did you get on your 2010? I believe I read (on PriusChat, no less) that the 17"s are going to be Michelin Pilot HX MXM4s. This is a very pricey tire, though it hasn't received the highest praise, particularly for snow/ice conditions. If anyone has seen a Prius V with 17" wheels, please let us know what tires it wears. |

Friends: 0 | Re: What tires did you get on your 2010? Most OEM tires stink and when u replace them, the dealer overprices them. It all depends on your priorites (sport, wet, all season). Tires are one overlooked item that can make/break your perceptions. |
