Cool

If off-color remarks upset you, don't read the next line.

Yes, that guide is so great that it's sticky from our excitement.

What if I had to read the next line to figure out if it offends me and it did and now I regret reading it but can't get it out of my head?

(Thanks for posting this, Tideland)

np. I figured it's better to link than to move the thread since people are probably used to finding it in the mod section. This is mostly for newbies who need to search and don't know about the stickies.

Hey. Does this mean that I'm a legend on PriusChat now, because I have my own sticky and a link in the Knowledge Base section?

Well, as SB pointed out, it's no great accomplishment to combine something "sticky" with something found on the internet

I'll probably be following your guide shortly, as I have an EBH in a box after the big group buy of recent fame. I wonder one thing though, and this may prove to be your "prize" for getting a sticky in the KB:

Has the post been updated, or would you mind updating it to account for some of the good suggestions that followed your tutorial? Just so a streamlined approach can be found all in one place? Personally, I don't mind searching for it and finding all the useful tidbits in different places, but that may be helpful to the community in general, esp. given how many new installs will be done in the next few months in anticipation of winter!

I did make a few changes a while back, based on some suggestions from FireEngineer and other folks. However, I haven't checked the entire thread lately to see if any more good ideas have sprung up. If so, I may update the guide a bit more this weekend.

Ichabod, all the information I needed was found in that thread. A few replies to the post had good suggestions (such as inserting the EBH into the slot without any grease applied a few times to get used to the angle). But using only the information in that thread I was able to install mine.

I just want to add a link to the original post from Boxer WRX Prius on his EBH install and the many subsequent posts that address other individual experiences, cost analysis, etc. Good info others may be interested in...
