Cool, so both you and your brother are getting hybrids. But why did your older brother choose an Insight? Was it for looks, features, or price? Why do you say it's very crappy? How does it compare to the Prius? I never actually got much of a look. When I went to the Honda dealership I asked where it was, and the dealer said, "It's over there, it's the one that looks like a Prius... Err, I mean they look like us!" Haha, that cracked me up.
Anyway, I'm really happy with my Prius, I think it's great. The solar panel is nice to have. It doesn't keep the car super cool or anything, obviously, but I noticed that my car is still noticeably cooler than my brother's car when it's in the sun. It's also great to have the sunroof. These are probably the two features I use the most.
