My calender is marked. I now have just over 7 months to come up with a reason for my employer to let me off.

This will be 3 weeks after I come back from our 1-week summer shut-down.

I missed it last year, and all my co-workers know I was not happy about it. I told them I AM going this year, and if I could not get the time off then I would be suddenly very very sick - for a week!
