I use the flat of my fingernail on the screen....just the lightest touch is all you need.

Ahh, but you can remove protector in order to clean it. You get a dirty fingerprint on the LCD screen itself and it'll be harder to clean.

It's like having seat covers or a UV filter on a camera lens. Cheap protection.
