Default Extra button space

I notice a balck rectangular button space keeper next to the dashboard brightness wheel which I assume is for the EV button that is available in Japan. I also notice, however, that there are two button spaces next to the button that disengages/engages the smart key feature (below the sttering wheel). Any idea what those spaces are for--are they for features avaolable only in another part of the world?

Yeah, we've all been wondering that, too.

From previous threads, I don't think that anybody knew what they were for. Owners in other countries chimed in and said they were blank on their cars also....

Yup, for the EV button. Those who are from places where they are standard equipment and those of us who've installed our own place it there.
